DEPARTMENT OF HINDI

The Indian constitution, in 1950 declared Hindi in Devanagari Script to be the official language of the Union. Devnagari system which as it is more Naturally arraned than any other our English alphabet and orthography are disgracefully and almost ridiculously imperfect. Our National Language Hindi has brought all Bharatiyas together. Law to progressively increase the use Hindi in its official work, which it has sought to do through persuasion, incentive and goodwill. Recently the Modi Govt. announced plans to promote Hindi in government offices in Southern and Northern India.

Andhra the first linguistic state of India. Was born in 1953 and “KURNOOL” the gate way of Rayalaseema was the capital. In the year 1956 after the formation of Andhra Pradesh the capital was shifted to Hyderabad. Rajbhavan Constructed for Governer’s residence at Kurnool was kept vacant for along time it is then the deputy chief minister Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy took initiate and with the help of Philanthropist Kasi Reddy Venkat Reddy a women’s college was Started on July 27th 1958 is the premises of Raj Bhavan an and named the college as Kasi Reddy Venkat Reddy Women’s College, Kurnool.

      The Department of Hindi was started with the beginning of the college in 1958 as a second language of Hindi for all combination of groups like B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc etc.
