The college follows and implements the Choice Based Credit System(CBCS) as recommended by the UGC guidelines on adoption of CBCS. However, certain modifications are made in the CBCS to suit local requirements and better assessment ofstudents.
In the CBCS system, the evaluation process is as follows

In every semester, the award of CIA marks is non-institutionalized and the concernedHead of the Department (HoD) / Lecturer in Charge is responsible to conduct andsubmitthe CIA marks tothe Examination Cellintime.
ThereisnominimummarksforCIA
40 percent is the minimum pass mark in SEE and CIA together and must secure 40 percentmarks in SEE.
Internal Practical Examinations are conducted in odd semesters and External PracticalExaminationsareconducted in even semesters.
Under this system, a student has the choice to pick out one or more of subjects, such asinterdisciplinary elective, one advanced elective and one skill based elective offered by eachdepartmentbesidescoresubjectsasapartofthecurriculum.Certainnumberofcreditswillbeawarded for each core aswell as chosen subjects underthis conditions.
Under CBCS system in final year, the student has to choose one elective besidescoresubjectsineachoptionalpaper inVIsemester.Inthe year 2020-21 the student has to choose one elective in life skill course in 1st Semester, One elective in Skill development course in 2nd Semester, One elective in Life Skill course & one elective in Skill development course in 3rd Semester.
